The Cat and the Mouse Beer Bar

Tucked into the lanes of the Kapana Creative District, Cat & Mouse is the bar that kick-started Plovdiv’s modern craft-beer scene back in 2015, and it’s still the neighborhood’s go-to for a pint. Expect 5–6 rotating taps focused on Bulgarian craft plus a deep bottle list—100+ labels spanning Belgian, German, Czech, British, Serbian, and local brews. They also pour their own Cat & Mouse beers, which regularly show up on draft. The look is intimate and design-forward, with a few street tables when the weather’s kind—perfect for people-watching on the cobbles.
